Provides Christmas assistance for families in need and single households in Peterborough and the surrounding area.
Provides grocery gift cards for holiday meals.
Provides toys and gifts for children (ages 0-13) and teens (14-17).
Volunteers are always required to ensure the proper delivery of programming.
Donations of food, money or toys can be dropped off at the Salvation Army located at the corner of Simcoe and Aylmer Streets, during operating hours.
Monetary donations can be received at the Community and Family Services office at 219 Simcoe St in the gray part of the building.
Donations of food and toys can be dropped off at the first door of the Church at 219 Simcoe St, next to the gray part of the building. Please ring the doorbell and someone will be with you as soon as they are available.

Toy Shop and Grocery Card Pick Up: Nov 20-Dec 15, 2023. Pick up at the marked door on Simcoe St, entering the main lobby of the church closest to the intersection of Simcoe and Aylmer St.

Applicants must apply by phone for an appointment
When applicants arrive for their appointment, they must have personal identification, identification for all family members, proof of current address and income verification for all adults living in the household
