Park features a landscaped walking path along the west bank of the Otonabee River in downtown Peterborough with sculptures, extensive flower beds, the Butterfly Garden, grassy areas and benches.
Venue for special events such as the Hike for Hospice, Purple Onion Festival, Ribfest, Pride in the Park, weddings, walkathons, performances and other community events.
Main grassed area is large enough to erect tents as large as 30 ft x 80 ft for special events with access to hydro, water and permanent washrooms. Contact the Recreation Division to book the park.

Lower boathouse is leased by the Peddle n' Paddle and offers bicycle, kayak, canoe and paddleboards for rent from Victoria Day weekend through Fall. For more information visit www.pedalnpaddle.ca
