Description (Service) COVID19 - Office closed to walk-in service * supportive counselling by telephone for individuals, families and caregivers impacted by chronic mental illness, including schizophrenia and other forms of psychosis, call 1-855-449-9949 or email support@iamentalhealth.ca (response may take up to 2 days) * virtual family support groups through Strengthening Families Together program - visit website for details Regular Service Support and education for people with mental illness.
  • One-to-One Support
    • telephone, online and in-person support service,
    • information and counselling on first episode or new diagnosis, managing schizophrenia/psychosis, justice and mental health, housing, employment and Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), early intervention, managing medications, recognizing and managing signs and symptoms of mental illness, advocacy
    • support groups
    • family support
    • online resources
    • research and public awareness
