Description

Description (Service) Offers support and services to people of any age who are living with serious illness and grief and their caregivers. Services are designed to enhance the comfort, dignity and quality of life of individuals and families.

Services include:
  • support groups
  • 10 bed Resident Care Centre for end of life care
  • variety of wellness programs and resources
  • caregiver support
  • bereavement support for adults, children and teens
  • offers education and consultation support services to health care providers located in Peterborough, Northumberland County, Haliburton County and City of Kawartha Lakes
  • includes a palliative pain and symptom management consultation (PPSMC)service for specialized palliative care support

  • Anyone living with a life threatening illness and their caregivers, or anyone experiencing bereavement
  • Health care professionals for education and consultation
